Welcome to PokerFocus, developed and operated by PulseAI Labs ("PulseAI Labs", "we", "our", or "us"). PokerFocus is an AI-powered poker performance assistant designed to help players improve their emotional control, focus, and decision-making at the poker table.

This Privacy Policy explains how PulseAI Labs collects, uses, stores, and protects your personal information when you use the PokerFocus mobile application ("the App"). By using PokerFocus, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy.

2. Information We Collect

2.2 Health and Biometric Data

PokerFocus collects heart rate data through connected wearable devices to power the PokerPulse AI® feature. Specifically:

• Resting heart rate baseline measurements
• Real-time heart rate readings during active sessions
• Heart rate variability (HRV) data where available
• Heart rate spike events and timestamps

2.3 Session and Performance Data

• Poker session records (date, duration, mode, stage)
• Financial data you voluntarily enter (buy-in amounts, profit/loss, prize amounts, bounties)
• Emotional analytics (calm/elevated/alert percentages, focus scores)
• AI question responses during heart rate spike events
• Session notes you choose to enter

2.4 Opponent Notes

• Nicknames and notes about opponents you choose to record
• Tags and tendencies you assign to opponents
• This data is entirely user-generated and stored privately

2.5 App Usage Data

• Feature usage patterns (to improve the app)
• Crash reports and error logs

The following information is entirely optional:

• Financial data — you can save sessions without financial details

3. How We Use Your Information

• Power the PokerPulse AI® heart rate monitoring and emotional analysis features
• Generate personalised AI coaching insights, pre-session briefings, and weekly reports
• Track your session history and performance statistics
• Deliver scheduled focus alerts and reminders during sessions
• Enable opponent notes and table management features

3.2 To Improve the App

• Analyse usage patterns to improve features and user experience
• Fix bugs and resolve technical issues
• Develop new features based on how the app is used

• Send push notifications for session alerts and reminders
• Deliver weekly AI performance reports
• Send important account and service updates

3.4 To Manage Subscriptions

• Process subscription payments through Google Play or Apple App Store

4.1 Where Your Data is Stored

Your data is stored securely using Google Firebase services, including:

• Firebase Authentication — for account management
• Cloud Firestore — for session data, health data, and app data

5. Health and Biometric Data

5.1 How We Use Health Data

• Heart rate data is used ONLY to power PokerPulse AI® emotional monitoring
• Data is analysed to detect spikes, calculate focus scores, and generate personalised insights
• Health data helps the AI learn your personal emotional patterns over time

5.2 What We Do NOT Do With Health Data

5.3 Health Data Consent

When you first use PokerPulse AI® monitoring, the App will request permission to access heart rate data from your connected wearable device. You can withdraw this permission at any time through your device settings.

6. Third-Party Services

6.1 AI Services (Anthropic Claude API)

PokerFocus uses the Anthropic Claude API to generate AI-powered coaching content including pre-session briefings, heart rate spike questions, weekly performance reports, and style analysis. Session data is sent to the Anthropic API solely to generate your coaching content and is subject to Anthropic's privacy policy.

6.2 Google Firebase

PulseAI Labs uses Google Firebase for database, authentication, and push notifications. Subject to Google's Privacy Policy.

6.3 Payment Processors

• Google Play Billing (Android)
• Apple App Store / StoreKit (iOS)

PulseAI Labs does not receive or store your payment card details. Payment processing is handled entirely by Google or Apple.

6.4 Wearable Device Integration

PokerFocus connects to wearable devices (such as Wear OS watches and Apple Watch) via Bluetooth to receive heart rate data. The wearable device's own data practices are governed by the manufacturer's privacy policy.

7. Your Rights and Choices

7.1 Access Your Data

You can view your session history, health data, and account information within the App at any time.

7.2 Delete Your Account

You can permanently delete your account and all associated data from the Settings screen in the App. This will delete all your data permanently and cannot be undone.

7.3 Opt Out of Health Data Collection

You can use PokerFocus without enabling PokerPulse AI® heart rate monitoring by selecting "Skip Heart Rate Monitoring" when starting a session. All other features remain available.

7.4 Notification Preferences

You can control all notification settings within the App under Settings > Notifications at any time.

8. Children's Privacy

PokerFocus is intended for adults aged 18 and over. PulseAI Labs does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under the age of 18. If you believe your child has provided us with personal information please contact us immediately and we will delete such information.

9. Changes to This Privacy Policy

PulseAI Labs may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make significant changes, we will update the "Last Updated" date above and notify you through a push notification or in-app message.

By downloading, installing, or using PokerFocus, you agree to the following terms:

12.1 Acceptance of Terms

By using PokerFocus you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree please do not use the App.

12.2 Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years of age to use PokerFocus. By using the App you confirm that you are 18 or older.

12.3 License

PulseAI Labs grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use PokerFocus for your personal, non-commercial use on your mobile device.

12.4 Prohibited Uses

You agree not to:

• Copy, modify, or distribute the App or its content
• Reverse engineer or attempt to extract the source code
• Use the App for any illegal or unauthorised purpose
• Sell, resell, or sublicense the App
• Use the App to harm, threaten, or harass others

12.5 Subscriptions and Payments

• PokerFocus offers Free, Pro, and Elite subscription tiers
• Paid subscriptions are billed through Google Play or Apple App Store
• Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled before the renewal date
• Refunds are subject to Google Play and Apple App Store refund policies
• PulseAI Labs reserves the right to change pricing with reasonable notice

12.6 Trial Period

New users receive 3 free PokerPulse AI® sessions. After the trial, a paid subscription is required to continue using PokerPulse AI® features. Trial sessions cannot be reset or transferred.

PokerFocus is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. PulseAI Labs does not guarantee that the App will be error-free, uninterrupted, or that heart rate data will be accurate at all times.

12.9 Limitation of Liability

PulseAI Labs shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of PokerFocus, including but not limited to losses at the poker table. The App is a performance tool and does not guarantee poker results.

12.10 Intellectual Property

PokerFocus, PokerPulse AI®, and all related logos, designs, and content are the intellectual property of PulseAI Labs. PokerPulse AI® is a registered trademark of PulseAI Labs. Unauthorised use is strictly prohibited.

12.11 Termination

PulseAI Labs reserves the right to suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms of Service. You may delete your account at any time from the Settings screen in the App.

12.12 Changes to Terms

PulseAI Labs may update these Terms of Service from time to time. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
